Estonian investing platform Funderbeam sold a majority stake to Irish firm VentureWave

Estonian equity funding and trading platform Funderbeam sold a majority stake to Irish-based venture private equity group VentureWave. Existing backers, such as Estonian founder and CEO of Funderbeam Kaidi Ruusalepp, Japanese VC Mistletoe, and US early-stage VC Draper Associates, also invested in Funderbeam. The total amount of the deal estimates at €36M. Other previous shareholders, for example, Estonian accelerator and venture fund Startup Wise Guys, did not exit the company. 

Lithuanian IT company TeleSoftas acquired German tool-sharing application kurts toolbox

Lithuanian software developer company TeleSoftas  acquired German mobile application kurts toolbox , which focuses on the B2C rental of tools. Earlier, TeleSoftas was cooperating in the development of the tool rental system kurts toolbox.

Estonian-US startup Snackable.ai was acquired by Amazon

Estonian-US startup Snackable.ai was acquired by the e-commerce platform Amazon. The deal was closed in December 2023. With the acquisition, Estonian venture funds Tera Ventures, Superangel, and founder of Skype Jaan Tallinn exited from Snackable.ai. They participated in Snackable’s seed round of investments in 2019. The total amount of financing in that round was €1,27M.

Estonian transportation platform Forus International acquires  Estonian car-sharing service Autolevi . The amount of the deal is undisclosed.

Abu Dhabi-based company acquired a majority stake in the Estonian Milrem Robotics

Abu Dhabi-based technology and defense group EDGE Group PJSC , which manufactures waterborne and land vehicles, autonomous systems, cybersecurity solutions, and other defense equipment, acquired a majority stake in the Estonian defense solutions provider of robotics and autonomous system robotics Milrem Robotics .

Based in Dublin payment solution NomuPay   acquired  Lithuanian fintech Click2Sell known by its trademark Cardinity . Click2Sell is one of the first Lithuanian fintech companies licensed by the Bank of Lithuania.
