Estonian crypto startup Striga acquired by US-based Lightspark

Estonian startup Striga , which develops infrastructure for cryptocurrency payments, has been acquired by US payment platform Lightspark . The amount of the deal has not been disclosed. This is an exit for YCombinator , Rhombuz VC , and other investment companies that invested in Striga in 2021.

Estonian-founded venture capital fund Plural led a $8.3M Series A round for US cybersecurity company Arcjet . Other participants in the round included Ott Kaukver (former CTO of Twilio & Checkout.com) and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Seedcamp, Jeff Lawson (former CEO of Twilio) and Feross Aboukhadijeh (CEO of Socket).
