Lithuanian MELP raises €1.2M from Coinvest Capital and business angels

Lithuanian HRtech MELP has raised €1.2M from Coinvest Capital and business angels.

MELP, a company that has developed an employee well-being platform, helps attract and increase engagement and reduce turnover. Employees from different organizations can choose personalized fringe benefits on the platform, access internal corporate communications and enjoy discounts from various vendors. The company was founded in 2022 in Lithuania. The co-founders are Robertas Šaltis, Vidmantas Šiugždinis and Juozas Sargūnas.

The MELP platform is already used by Ignitis group, Nortal, IKI Lietuva (Rewe group), Atea Baltic, Volvo Lithuania, City service, Vilnius City Municipality and many other organizations. MELP will use the attracted investments to strengthen the company's position in the UK market.

Coinvest Capital, an early stage venture capital fund established in 2018 by the national development bank ILTE, invests EU and Republic of Lithuania public funds, in promising Lithuanian startups. The managing director of Coinvest Capital is Viktorija Trimbel.
