Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys has exited from the US AI-powered solution Elai.io , which allows users to convert text to video. Elai.io has been acquired by the US educational video platform Panopto . Details of the deal were not disclosed.

Estonian accelerator and fund Startup Wise Guys has exited the Italian delivery management solution Deliverart . The startup’s new shareholder is the Italian company TeamSystem which develops digital business management solutions.

Practica Capital exits Lithuanian medtech Softneta

Lithuania's Practica Capital has exited Lithuanian medtech Softneta , in which it invested €1M in 2016. Softneta has become part of a group of healthcare IT companies in a portfolio of funds advised by investor Bregal Unternehmerkapital. As part of the deal, MedDream, a Softneta portfolio company that develops medical devices for processing, visualizing, and transmitting diagnostic medical data, has been spun off to form MedDream UAB. 

Estonian AI-powered HR platform Wisnio was acquired by Swedish company Assessio Group

Estonian AI-powered HR platform Wisnio  has been acquired by Swedish talent assessment company Assessio Group. The acquisition represents an exit for Wisnio's early investors from Estonia: Siena Secondary Fund , Spring Capital ,  Startup Wise Guys , and Metaplanet . According to public sources, Startup Wise Guys invested in Wisnio in 2016, Metaplanet invested in 2019 and Spring Capital in 2021.

Estonian fintech Paywerk was acquired by Swedish banking group Swedbank

Tallinn-based fintech Paywerk   has been acquired by Swedish banking group Swedbank, which will integrate Paywerk's technology into its infrastructure. Details of the deal have not been disclosed. After the deal is complete, the startup's executives (Jan Andresoo, Priit Poldoja, Raino Parona, and Marko Varika) will no longer work at Paywerk's management and supervisory boards.

Majority stake in wellness marketplace Stebby was acquired by French company Up Group

The majority stake in Estonian wellness marketplace Stebby   has been acquired by French payment solutions company Up Group. The previous majority owner was a Riga-based private equity fund Livonia Partners, which owned 50% of Stebby. The company's current management will continue working in the company with Up Group.

70V exits Lithuanian accounting services provider RoboLabs

Lithuanian fund 70V has exited from the Lithuanian accounting services provider and business management system for small and medium-sized enterprises RoboLabs . The startup's new owner is a Norwegian serial acquirer of business software company Hawk Infinity.  

Tera Ventures and founder of Monese to buy out the startup's main business line for retail banking

Estonian Tera Ventures and Monese founder Norris Koppel will acquire the startup's retail banking business. Monese's previous major investors have exited the startup. They include Swedish VC Kinnevik (which led Monese's $60M Series B in 2018, after which it held a 21% stake in the fintech), US payment platform PayPal, British Airways owner International Airlines Group and London-based VC Augmentum Fintech (all of which participated in Monese's $60M Series B), and London-based financial services organization HSBC (which invested $35M in 2022).

Siena Secondary Fund acquired a stake in Estonian Skeleton Technologies

Siena Secondary Fund acquired  a 0.55% stake in the Estonian developer of supercapacitors (fast-charging batteries) Skeleton Technologies . 0.46% - through Siena Secondary Fund I and 0,09% -through Siena Secondary Fund Co-Invest III. Also, Estonian entrepreneur and a board member of the bank LHV Pank Heldur Meerits acquired 0,18% of Skeleton through his company Malinska.

Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys exited from Tallinn-based cyber tech firm  TRAPMINE , which develops anti-malware solution. TRAPMINE was acquired by a US cybersecurity company. The buyer undisclosed.

Latvian marketing startup Roibox was acquired by Italian Jakala

Latvian marketing data analytics startup Roibox   was acquired by marketing technology company Jakala. According to public information, Jakala purchased 53% of the startup. Roibox’s founders saved their stakes.

Lithuanian Business Angels Fund exited the Lithuanian provider of solar panels Energia Futura

Lithuanian Business Angels Fund exited  the Kaunas-based provider of solar energy solutions for private households and businesses Energia Futura . The details of the deal are undisclosed, but according to the fund, it was a successful investment for them. Business Angels Fund invested €300K in Energia Futura in 2020.

Practica Capital made a partial exit from Lithuanian PV software company PVcase

  Lithuanian venture fund Practica Capital made a partial exit from the Lithuanian developer of solar project design software PVcase , after a new $100M injection from London-based venture firm Highland Europe, US company Energize Ventures, and Boston-based existing investor Elephant. Currently, the startup secured over $123M in its history.

The initial public offering of an Estonian autonomous store technology startup Grab2Go ended on 6 June 2023.

Cats.VC exited Estonian developer of software for farmers eAgronom

Lithuanian-based fund Cats.VC exited Estonian SaaS solution for agricultural land management eAgronom . This is the first exit of the fund. 

Estonian streaming platform Fairmus acquired marketplace for music copyrights Fanvestory

Estonian streaming platform Fairmus   acquired  100% of Estonian marketplace for music copyright Fanvestory . It is an exit for Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys. According to public sources of information, the startup was backed also by Estonian venture capital firm and accelerator Storytek, and other Estonian and foreign investors. The acquisition was advised by the international business law firm Sorainen.

Estonian-US startup Snackable.ai was acquired by Amazon

Estonian-US startup Snackable.ai was acquired by the e-commerce platform Amazon. The deal was closed in December 2023. With the acquisition, Estonian venture funds Tera Ventures, Superangel, and founder of Skype Jaan Tallinn exited from Snackable.ai. They participated in Snackable’s seed round of investments in 2019. The total amount of financing in that round was €1,27M.

Lithuanian Tesonet invested in the proptech platform Flanco

Lithuanian Tesonet   invested  in the property technology platform Flanco . The amount of investments is undisclosed. The deal is an exit for previous investor Civinity, which 8% of  Flanco’s shares was also bought by Tesonet. Tesonet became a major strategic investor in the startup.
