Net Group acquires Estonian software company Outl1ne

Estonian software development boutique Outl1ne has been acquired by Estonian software development and consulting company  Net Group. After the acquisition, Outl1ne will operate as a separate legal entity, managed by its founders Olari Tõnison and Allan Tatter.

Founded in Tallinn in 2012, Outl1ne, formerly Veebimeedia, specializes in implementing language models and developing custom business software. The company develops web applications using React, Node.js, Laravel, and other technologies. The team has 25 employees.

Net Group is an Estonian software development and consultancy firm operating in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). The company specializes in product development, tech team extension, and providing business intelligence services to companies and organizations. Its areas of expertise include e-commerce, e-governance, fintech, digital utility businesses, and custom software.

In 2015, Net Group created an eJustice platform Courtal.com, and in 2017, the IT company launched an IoT driving system for electric scooters. Net Group holds stakes in Estonian healthtech Elsavie, Tallinn-based Synerall, which develops billing solutions for energy companies, and AI-powered fintech Depowise. The main shareholders are Priit Kongo (51.65%) and Jaan Feldmann (34,16%). 

The merger of the two companies will enhance their artificial intelligence expertise. Net Group is also considering establishing a specialized unit focused on large language models and increasing its service portfolio. The companies aim to help companies find the most appropriate LLM solution and seamlessly integrate it with their existing software.
