Lithuanian virtual cash register system for small and large businesses Virtualikasa was acquired by fintech Paysera
Lithuanian virtual cash register system for small and large businesses Virtualikasa.lt, developed by digital marketing agency Brand Lions, has been acquired by Lithuanian fintech Paysera. The amount of the deal is undisclosed.
Founded in 2020 by Mantas Chodosevicius and Justas Seibokas, Brand Lions has created a subscription-based solution Virtualikasa.lt that helps businesses send receipts, create product assortments, issue invoices, and keep track of leftovers. Following the acquisition, Paysera acquired all intellectual property rights to Virtualikasa.lt from Brand Lions. Moreover, Brand Lions’s employees became a part of Paysera's team.
Another solution of Virtualikasa.lt is a balance management platform, which helps to keep track of warehouse balances, carry over residues, write off missing goods or defects, etc.
Founded in Vilnius in 2004 by Kostas Noreika, Sarunas Broga, and Audrius Luciunas under the name Elektroniniai verslo projektai, Paysera is an electronic payment company licensed by the Bank of Lithuania. In 2014, the company changed its name to Paysera.
Paysera's products include an e-shop payment gateway, money transfers, currency conversion, payment cards, an event ticketing platform, a parcel locker network and a financial management application.
