Estonian EV charging network developer Eleport acquires Austrian company TurboVolt

Estonian public electric vehicle charging network developer Eleport has acquired Austrian electric vehicle charging station installer TurboVolt. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded by Raul Potisepp in Tallinn in 2016, Eleport provides charging solutions for electric vehicles and offers its clients services from installation to maintenance of EV charging networks. The company has developed more than 800 electric vehicle chargers and operates in the Baltics and Poland.

Founded in Vienna in 2022, TurboVolt offers services of installing DC (direct current) fast charging hardware and operating EV charging points through smart software. TurboVolt's hubs enable the clients to charge several cars simultaneously. The CEO of the company is Anthony Hinde.

With the acquisition of TurboVolt, Eleport will expand into Slovenia and Croatia, where it plans to launch 17 electric vehicle charging stations. Each station will have up to 12 chargers that will deliver up to 300 kW of power per socket.
