Latvian theIntelligent VC invests in gambling data analytics platform Blask

Riga-based theIntelligent VC has invested in gambling and betting data analytics platform Blask. The amount of the investment is undisclosed. The fund's average ticket size per startup is up to $250K.

Founded in 2021 by Dmitry Belyanin and Max Tesla and based in Limassol both Lisbon, Blask is a SaaS platform that enables gambling and betting companies to gain market insights and analytics. Using AI and machine learning, Blask collects data from all casino and betting brands in a given country, which is updated on an hourly basis. For example, a casino owner can see their brand's market share in Brazil in the user interface.

In addition to the brand's market share, companies can see a detailed analysis of the market size and player demographics (age, gender, income, education, etc.) in the interface. The company's AI models also calculate the estimated gross gaming revenue and the estimated number of first-time depositors, achieving an accuracy of 95% for established brands and 85% for new ones. According to the startup, its solution allows for monthly and annual market dynamics updates, the identification of new untapped markets for gaming companies to expand into, and analysis of the impact of a Sunday football match on market performance, for example.

Founded in Riga, theIntelligent VC is a venture company with a focus on early-stage AI-powered startups. To receive investment, the startups must demonstrate "at least minimal" traction through sales, contracts, or other tangible indicators of market validation. Partners of the VC are Andrei Doktoroff and Tetiana Doktorova.
