Estonian software company GSMvalve acquires Latvian telemetry solutions developer Intelligent Systems SIA

Estonian security and logistics solutions provider GSMvalve has acquired Latvian logistics software development company Intelligent Systems SIA.

Founded in 2005 in Tallinn, GSMvalve develops GPS tracking services and software for asset, logistics, transportation, and work management solution for businesses in the private and public sectors and for individual customers Navirec. GSMvalve also offers transport and work management solution GSMtasks and home security products. GSMvalve is owned by Hans Alter.

As a result of the merger, Navirec's service platform will grow to more than 22,000 vehicles equipped with logistics and GPS management software, and the total number of Navirec customers will increase to 10,000. In addition, GSMvalve plans to increase its market share in Africa, Australia, and the Netherlands.

Founded in Riga in 2008, Intelligent Systems provides fleet management and fuel control solutions. Intelligent Systems has developed services such as fleet management and fuel control SkyFMS, wireless tracker for movable assets CheckGPS, employee task and work time planner Asigny, industrial asset control and monitoring Enginereader, and others. As a result of the deal, all Latvian brands of Intelligent Systems SIA will be integrated with GSMvalve solutions, two of them - with the Navirec car video surveillance solution. The company's services are used in three continents - EU, North America, and South America. The CEO is Janis Grivins.
