Average salary in Lithuanian startups increased to €4,6K in Q1 2025
According to the Lithuanian startup association Unicorns Lithuania, there are currently almost 1,1K startups operating in Lithuania. In the first quarter of this year, they paid €128.2M in taxes - 19% more than a year ago and 5% more than in the previous quarter, according to Unicorns Lithuania data.
Top 5 startups with the highest tax deductions:
- Binance - €13.10M (+84% compared to Q4 2024)
- Vinted - €10,04M (+2%)
- Nord Security - €7,02M (+43%)
- Wargaming - €5,96M (+3%)
- Baltic Classifieds Group - €4,99M (-26%)
The average salary in the sector has also increased and now stands at €4,6K per month, €500 more than in the same period last year.
Top 5 startups with the highest salaries:
- Pixelmator - €106.9K (+619% compared to Q4 2024)
- Binance - €30,14K (+458%)
- Talech - €15,16K (+225%)
- Convious - €14,25K (+239%)
- OBDeleven - €13,69K (+224%)
Startups now employ 19,4K professionals, up nearly 4% from last year. The top three startups employing the most people in Lithuania remained the same compared to last year: Vinted (1,540 employees), Nord Security (1,321) and Wargaming (808).
