Estonian DefenseTech startup 5.0 Robotics raises strategic investment from Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital

Tallinn-based defense technology startup 5.0 Robotics has raised strategic investment from Luxembourg-based venture capital fund Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital to launch a special DefenseTech Fund. It is known that former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves has joined the advisory board of the fund.

5.0 Robotics is a defense technology startup founded in Estonia in 2020. The company specializes in the production of mobile robotic systems that can produce and repair equipment in complex combat environments. The company's flagship products are the Executive Series and Battle Beaver systems. These mobile, high-performance CNC machines can operate with minimal energy requirements.

Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital is an investment company founded in Luxembourg in 2019. The fund focuses on investments in startups, especially in FinTech and ClimateTech. Co-founders: Laurent Hengesch and Alain Wildanger.
