Latvian technology startup Exonicus raises €85K from LatBAN
Exonicus, a Latvian company developing augmented reality trauma training for defense and emergency medical services, has raised an investment of €85K from the Latvian Business Angels Network (LatBAN). This is LatBAN's first investment in a dual-use company.
The company plans to use the funds received for further development and to enter into the markets of Europe and the USA.

The platform can be used to simulate real-time trauma cases in virtual, augmented and mixed reality formats. The simulator is used by NATO Special Operations Forces, the US Army and training centers across Europe. The startup was founded in Latvia in 2015 by Sandis Kondrats. Exonicus is headquartered in the United States.
LatBAN is a Latvian business angel network that was founded in April 2014. It helps business angels make investments throughout the Baltic region offering training, advice, and co-investment opportunities.
