Lithuanian startup Sort A Brick raises €350K

Lithuanian startup Sort A Brick has raised €350k, closing a pre-seed round of €1.5M. The round was supported by NGL Ventures, FIRSTPICK and business angels. 

Sort a Brick offers an AI-powered brick sorting service that restores broken plastic toy bricks. The sorting process works like an automated assembly line. Machines take the set of bricks, clean and sort them identifying and categorizing them by size, color, and shape. The company then designs a new model from the broken parts. If the customer approves a new model, Sort a Brick sends a restored set of bricks back to the customer and provides online instructions. The company was founded in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2023 by Ilya Malkin, Aurimas Slapšys and Justas Kranauskas.

Founded in 2022, FIRSTPICK is a venture capital firm based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The firm seeks to invest in early-stage companies operating in the fintech, software as a service, deep tech, and consumer marketplaces sectors across the Baltic region. The partners of Firstpick are Jone Vaituleviciute, Marijus Andrijauskas, Andra Bagdonaite.

NGL was founded in April 2024 year in Lithuania by former LitBAN Managing Director Justinas Pasys and Ieva Dargyte-Pasiene as a family business. The company's portfolio includes VUGENE, Walk15, Cyber Upgrade and MELP.
