Estonian fund Karma Ventures invests in Finnish company Swarmia

Estonian Karma Ventures participated in a €10M round for Finnish SaaS company Swarmia. DIG Ventures and business angels also participated in the round, including Romain Huët (Open AI’s head of developer experience) and Cal Henderson (co-founder and former CTO of Slack).

Swarmia is a company that has created a platform that enables software developers to get real-time insights into product development. This helps to optimize reporting and improve collaboration between teams. Swarmia was founded in Finland in 2019. The founder and CEO of Swarmia is Otto Hilska.

Founded in 2016 by Kristjan Laanemaa, Margus Uudam, and Tommi Uhari, Karma Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm, investing in late seed and A-series European startups. The firm injects up to €5M in the initial round and also makes follow-on investments in later rounds.

DIG Ventures is a venture capital firm founded in 2018 by Ross Mason in the UK. The company specializes in investing in early-stage startups. In particular, in companies related to cloud infrastructure, SaaS and fintech companies in Europe, Israel and the US.
