Estonian programming school //kood opens offices in Ukraine and Kenya


 

Estonian programming school //kood opened its offices in Ukraine and Kenya with the support of the Estonian Service for International Development (ESTDEV). In Ukraine //kood cooperates with Zhytomyr Polytechnic University, and in Kenya the partner is GreatWell Training College in Nairobi. 

The kood/Zhytomyr project will train 100 students from the first cohort in a hybrid format adapted to wartime conditions. The kood/Nairobi program begins with a three-week qualifying programming sprint. Successful participants will move on to a one-year distance learning program using the cloud platform //kood.

Programming school //kood was founded in Estonia in 2021. Its goal is to train full-stack software developers. Students can specialize in areas such as cybersecurity, mobile applications, data analysis and artificial intelligence. In summer 2024, the first international kood/Sisu school was opened in Finland. The CEO is Lauri Haav.
