Lithuanian accelerator Firstpick invests in American AI startup Skarbe

Lithuania's Firstpick has led a $600K Pre-Seed round for US AI startup Skarbe. Other investors in the company were Somersault Ventures and business angels Andreas Michalowitz and Jeroen Van Ermena.

Skarbe is an artificial intelligence-based sales automation platform designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. Skarbe's AI-powered assistant connects directly to email and calendar, then suggests specific next steps, drafts reminders, and tracks activity by transactions and contacts. Skarbe (Belarusian for treasure) was founded in 2023 by Belarusian emigrants Mikita Martynau and Alex Talyuk. Skarbe is headquartered in San Francisco, USA.

Firstpick is a venture capital firm and accelerator founded by the former team of the Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys, which operated in Lithuania. The company invests in Lithuanian-based startups in a wide range of sectors, from enterprise applications to consumer and retail. The partners of Firstpick are Jone Vaituleviciute, Marijus Andrijauskas, Andra Bagdonaite. 

Somersault Ventures is a venture capital fund founded in 2022 and headquartered in Dover, Delaware, USA. The fund invests in Seed and Series A stage startups, primarily in B2B and B2C software, marketplaces, EdTech, FinTech and entertainment. Somersault Ventures was founded by Alex Turbanov and Alexander Nevinsky.
