Estonian company Nortal buys US-based Nearsure

Estonian company Nortal has acquired Nearsure, a U.S. software company with a customer base in the U.S. and more than 600 employees in Latin America. According to company representatives, this is the largest acquisition in Nortal's history and strengthens its presence in the U.S. market.

Founded in the U.S. in 2018, Nearsure is a software developer offering enterprise solutions, low-code and SaaS (Software as a Service) development, artificial intelligence-based solutions, and cross-border IT development teams for clients. The company's partners include Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow.

Founded in Tallinn in 2000 by Priit Alamäe, Nortal provides strategic consulting, software development projects, and related advisory and digitization services. Nortal has worked on digital transformation projects for governments, healthcare institutions, and other global enterprises. The company has contributed to the improvement of the Estonian government portal eesti.ee, where people can apply for government services such as filing documents, registering the birth of a child, starting a business, and all types of e-services from government agencies. Nortal's employees deliver projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.
