Estonian Threod Systems is looking for a new owner

Estonian drone manufacturer Threod Systems is looking for a new owner for its business amid growing demand for unmanned systems. The startup's team is already working with consultants to gauge interest from potential buyers, which could include major European defense companies.

Threod Systems was founded in Estonia in 2012. The company manufactures fixed-wing, vertical takeoff and landing drones, as well as related systems such as launchers and optics. Threod Systems has also developed proprietary electro-optical payloads that include laser designators. The company's customers include Ukraine and seven NATO countries, including the UK, Poland and Lithuania. Mikk Murumäe is the founder of Threod Systems.
