Latvian BADideas.fund invests in Ukrainian platform Pleso Therapy

Latvian BADideas.fund participated in the €1.2M round of Ukrainian mental health treatment platform Pleso Therapy. Other investors include TA Ventures, Vchasno.Group and Ukrainian world boxing champion Oleksandr Usik.

Pleso Therapy is an online platform that helps connect patients with the right therapists. The startup both promotes access to mental health care and provides a stable and structured environment for therapists to work in. Since its founding in 2021, the platform has helped more than 25K users by providing nearly 200K therapy sessions. Pleso currently operates in Poland, Romania and Ukraine. The founders of Pleso Therapy are Olexandr Bondariev, Anna Lisova, Alexey Yakubenko and Vitaly Marchenko.

BADideas.fund is a Latvian fund, launched in April 2022. It focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage startups from Baltics and CEE region. The typical ticket size is €100K. The fund has more than 40 business angels, founders, executives, and employees of Bolt, Vimeo, Printify, PandaDoc, Pipedrive, and others.
