Latvian startups will be able to receive funding in the amount of €200K

The Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) will allocate more than €18.5M to finance a new program to support the digitization of local companies.

Grants of up to €10K will be available for new digital solutions and digital maturity assessments, and up to €200K for the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions. Unlike the previous digitalization support program, the new program does not require a roadmap to apply to LIAA.

LIAA has already supported 728 projects worth around €7.8M under the digitization support program. The largest amounts of support, between €90K and €100K, have been paid to nine companies, mainly to improve production and quality control, where production equipment and software machines have been purchased.

Companies participating in this support program implement projects in various industries. For example, Amati Projekts, with the support of the program, created a multifunctional website that allows customers to order products online, develop customized solutions and contact the company.
