Estonian Trind Ventures invests in Spanish company Hamelyn

Estonian Trind Ventures participated in a €2M round for Spanish technology company Hamelyn. Other investors in the company included Inclimo Climate Tech and business angels.

Hamelyn is a Spanish company founded in Madrid by Valentín Iskierdo and Federico Aguilar in 2020. It specializes in trading second-hand goods, particularly books, music, films, and video games. The new investment will enable the company to scale this closed-loop economy model both in Spain and in new markets.

Inclimo Climate Tech Fund is a venture capital fund that supports companies in the Climate Tech sector focused on reducing CO2 emissions. The company was founded in Spain in 2022.

Trind Ventures is an early-stage venture fund with an initial ticket of €0,1M-€1M, and follow-on investments up to €5M per company. The partners are Joel Aasmäe, Ivar Siimar, Kimmo Irpola, Taavi Lepmets, and Reima Linnanvirta.
