Estonian Vocal Image raises $3,6M seed round

Estonian AI platform Vocal Image has raised $3.6M in its initial round. The round was led by Educapital, with participation from Specialist VC and Generations Fund.

Vocal Image is a company that has created an AI-powered voice training app. It offers personalized lessons and exercises to improve speaking, singing, and communication skills. Vocal Image was founded in 2021 in Tallinn, Estonia. The startup grew out of a YouTube channel created by Nick Lahoika and Maryna Shukiurava to train communication skills and voice. Mikalai Karaliou became the third founder.

Thanks to the new funding, Vocal Image plans to expand its development team and add new localizations in addition to the existing ones in English, Spanish, German, French, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Educapital is a venture capital fund headquartered in Paris, founded in 2017. The fund specializes in supporting technology startups in the late Seed to Series B stages, providing capital and strategic guidance to scale their businesses.

Generations Fund is a venture capital firm based in Germany, founded in 2022. The company specializes in investing in startups in the fields of consumer technology, nutrition, health, beauty products, digital education, and sustainable fashion in Europe and Israel.
