Lithuanian Firstpick VC invests €350K in AI platform for career guidance Unive

 

Lithuanian Firstpick VC has invested €350K in Unive, an AI platform for career guidance. The startup received an additional €60K in the form of a grant from Lithuanian startup accelerator EduChallenger.

Unive is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to provide career guidance and help applicants enter universities. It supports students at all stages of the admission process and beyond, providing personalized recommendations and expert advice. The platform is currently focused on applicants wishing to enter US universities and plans to expand its presence in Western Europe. Unive was founded in 2025 by Lithuanians Jonas Kavaliauskas and Laurynas Šuopys.

Firstpick is a venture capital firm and accelerator founded by the former team of the Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys, which operated in Lithuania. The company invests in Lithuanian-based startups in a wide range of sectors, from enterprise applications to consumer and retail. The partners of Firstpick are Jone Vaituleviciute, Marijus Andrijauskas, Andra Bagdonaite.

EduChallenger is an accelerator for startups in the field of educational technology (EdTech). The program helps startups transform themselves through innovative technologies and has an educational impact. EduChallenger was founded in Lithuania in 2024.
