Tallinn-based defence-tech startup C2GRID raises €300K
Tallinn-based defence-tech startup C2GRID has raised €300K from venture capital firm Sunfish Partners.
C2GRID is a subsidiary of Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). The solution it has developed transforms battlefield footage into near real-time 3D models, fusing multi-sensor data and automating threat detection to enhance situational awareness, support mission planning, and accelerate decision-making. The startup was founded in 2024. CEO of C2GRID is Professor Vladimir Kuts.
With the support of Sunfish Partners C2GRID accelerate product development, scale business operations, build strategic partnerships across Europe, and deepen cooperation with Ukrainian and Estonian defence forces as well as industry partners to broaden the use of its technology across military and commercial domains.
Sunfish Partners is a pre-seed venture capital firm investing in early-stage space and defence technology companies from Eastern Europe. The firm supports founders developing technologies with direct applications in national security and defence at the earliest stages. The fund was founded in Germany in 2016.
