Lithuanian social platform Joiner App raises €500K

Joiner App, a Lithuanian startup that operates a socialization platform, has raised over €500K in an angel round. The names of the business angels have not been disclosed.

Founded in 2022 by Eduardas Titovas and Jurate Plungyte, Joiner created a social platform that was officially launched in Lithuania in 2024. The platform allows users to spontaneously organize events at home, invite friends, or join them. The app is designed to help users find new friends with similar interests and spend their free time together.

In July 2024 Joiner App has raised €500K from Lithuanian private business angels and advertising agency Ogilvy Vilnius and law firm Motieka and Audzevich.

With the new funding, Joiner plans to improve the user interface for chat and event creation features, as well as launch a pilot project with subscription and premium options. Scaling is planned for early 2026 and will begin in European cities, including Prague, Lisbon, and Malaga.
