Estonian Threod Systems tests new drones
The Estonian company Threod Systems, which develops unmanned aerial vehicles, tested a new unmanned precision strike system in cooperation with the Greek drone manufacturer S.A.S. Technology during the Aisios Omenos —25 exercises of the Greek armed Forces.
According to Arno Vaik, CEO of Threod Systems, the system of unmanned precision strikes created by his company can complement or even replace the manned airstrike systems currently in use, which will significantly increase the safety of pilots and operators.
Threod Systems was founded in Estonia in 2012. The company manufactures fixed-wing, vertical takeoff and landing drones, as well as related systems such as launchers and optics. Threod Systems has also developed proprietary electro-optical payloads that include laser designators. The company's customers include Ukraine and seven NATO countries, including the UK, Poland and Lithuania. Mikk Murumäe is the founder of Threod Systems.
