Estonian Trind Ventures leads €1.6M round for German Aampere
Estonian Trind Ventures has led a €1.6M round for German e-mobility startup Aampere. Other investors include Gimic Ventures and several experienced business angels.
Aampere is an e-mobility startup founded in Germany in 2022. The company has developed a platform to promote the used electric vehicle (EV) market and simplify the process of selling EVs. Owners can sell their EVs through an auction-based system, with vehicle valuation, transparent condition reporting, and secure transaction processes. The company was founded by Florian Reister, Maximilian Rost, and Nikolaus Schmidt.
Trind Ventures is an early-stage venture fund with an initial ticket of €0,1M-€1M, and follow-on investments up to €5M per company. The partners are Joel Aasmäe, Ivar Siimar, Kimmo Irpola, Taavi Lepmets, and Reima Linnanvirta.
GIMIC Ventures is a venture capital fund based in Karlsruhe. It specializes in financing startups in the DACH region. The fund focuses on B2C and B2B models, particularly in the areas of HealthTech, GreenTech, and DeepTech.
