Latvian company Mapon acquires Irish company Fleet Data

Latvian company Mapon, part of the Draugiem Group, is expanding its business in Europe by acquiring 100% of the shares in Irish company Envirokind Limited, known under the brand name Fleet Data.

Mapon is one of the largest providers of fleet management and asset tracking solutions in Northern Europe. The company has more than 30K customers and an extensive network of partners in Europe, the USA, Latin America, Australia and Africa. Mapon has more than 200 professionals working in its offices in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Denmark and Spain. Mapon was founded in 2004. It is the second largest company in the Draugiem Group.

In February 2025, Mapon acquired 100% of shares in the Swedish company Interkom AB in order to expand its presence in Scandinavia. Thanks to the new deal, Mapon will expand its presence and customer base in Ireland, as well as add experts with experience in the Irish market to its team. 

Fleet Data offers software for fleet management, GPS tracking, security cameras, and digital tachographs, helping customers manage resources, improve road safety, and promote sustainable corporate governance. The company was founded in 2012 in Ireland by Stephen Connell.
