Lithuanian company Self.co raises €2.56M
Lithuanian digital healthcare startup Self.co has raised €2.56M: €1.2M – from Iron Wolf Capital with the participation of Coinvest, NGL Ventures, and several business angels, and €1.36M – a state grant from the Lithuanian Innovation Agency to enter new European markets and improve testing technology.
Self.co, founded in Lithuania in 2015 by Tautvydas Gylys and Gintautas Gylys, has developed technology that can detect more than 300 allergens and food markers in a small blood sample that patients can take at home or at partner clinics. In the future, Self.co plans to turn its solution into a full-fledged digital healthcare ecosystem. By 2030, the startup also intends to become the leading European digital platform for the diagnosis and treatment of allergies.
Founded in 2018, Iron Wolf Capital is a Vilnius-based early-stage VC, that focuses on investment in AI, IoT, SaaS, Deeptech, Fintech startups, and marketplaces. The initial ticket ranges from €250K to €2M. The founding partners are Kasparas Jurgelionis, Viktoras Jucikas and Zygimantas Susnys.
Coinvest Capital, a venture capital fund established in 2018 by the national development bank ILTE, invests EU and Republic of Lithuania public funds, in promising Lithuanian startups and into European startups that benefit Lithuania. The managing director of Coinvest Capital is Viktorija Trimbel.
