Estonian startup Cara Health changes its name to Suun

The Estonian startup Cara Health, which provides support to women during pregnancy and the postpartum period, has announced its rebranding and renaming to Suun. The company plans to enter the UK market in the near future.

Suun, a medical technology startup with headquarters in Tallinn, was founded by paediatric nurse Anna Strubel alongside serial entrepreneurs Carina Vantsi and Keiro Vantsi in 2022. The company has created a platform for women's health and well-being during pregnancy and after childbirth. It includes a mobile application and physical locations where various services are provided, from gynecology to nutrition consultations. According to the company, more than 50K families have already used the platform.

In 2024, the startup received funding in the amount of €620K from Tera Ventures and Startup Istanbul founder Burak Büyükdemir.
