Estonian Trind Ventures invests in Finnish Bahn Express
Estonian Trind Ventures has participated in a €5M round for the Finnish Bahn Express automotive logistics platform. The round was led by node.vc and supported by the existing investor Innovestor and the angel investors including Vincent Ho-Tin-Noé (CPO, Wolt), Tuomo Riekki (Co-Founder, Smartly, Zero) and Jiri Heinonen (Co-Founder, Swappie).
Bahn Express, a startup founded in 2024 in Finland by Matthias Blomberg and Atte Vesala, creates technology solutions that help modernize the entire process of transporting cars across borders. Thanks to Bahn Express' proprietary platform, car delivery time is reduced from 10-30 days to just 2-5 days. The startup's main customers are the largest used car dealers in Finland, which together account for more than 70% of imported cars.
Trind Ventures is an early-stage venture fund with an initial ticket of €0,1M-€1M, and follow-on investments up to €5M per company. The partners are Joel Aasmäe, Ivar Siimar, Kimmo Irpola, Taavi Lepmets, and Reima Linnanvirta.
