Jeff Bezos' artificial intelligence startup Project Prometheus acquires Lithuanian-founded General Agents

Jeff Bezos' AI startup Project Prometheus has acquired General Agents, a startup founded by Lithuanian Jurgis Pašukonis.

General Agents is a startup founded in 2024 and headquartered in San Francisco, USA. The company has developed a computer agent called Ace, which performs tasks based on user prompts. General Agents' mission is to free humanity from digital labor. The founders of the startup are Lithuanian Jurgis Pašukonis and William Gass.

Project Prometheus is an artificial intelligence startup created by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in November 2025. The company's goal is to develop AI systems capable of acquiring knowledge not only from digital data arrays, but also from the physical world. Among its priority areas are the application of artificial intelligence in engineering, vehicle manufacturing, and space technology. The co-founder and co-CEO of the project is Vic Bajaj, a physicist and chemist who previously participated in Google projects.
