Estonian Rollo Robotics raises €3.7M in pre-seed round
Estonian startup Rollo Robotics, developing an autonomous monowheel security robot, has raised €3.7M in pre-seed round to further mature its gyroscopic stabilisation technology. The investment round was led by Berlin-based FoodLabs and venture capital firm Prototype, with support from Enterprise Estonia’s RUP programme.
Rollo Robotics was founded in Estonia in 2025 by Arno Kütt and Sander Sebastian Agur. The company is developing a single-wheeled robot that stays upright thanks to a gyroscopic stabilization system and sensors. According to the company, the use of a single wheel gives the device an advantage in confined spaces, such as industrial corridors or urban areas, where conventional four-wheeled robots cannot pass. According to co-founder Sander Sebastian Agur, the goal is to make facility security cheaper and robot movement more versatile.
