Estonian Specialist VC invests in Finnish Agileday

The Estonian Specialist VC has invested in the Finnish technology company Agileday. The €6.4M Series A round was led by Newion with the participation of Vendep Capital and Business Finland.

Agileday is a technology company developing an operating platform for Professional Services Automation (PSA). The solution integrates a sales funnel, project implementation, and financial data in real time, while artificial intelligence ensures coordination between functions. Agileday was founded in Finland in 2022 by Jaakko Hartikainen, Mikko Virtanen, Jaakko Hallavo, and Hannu Kärkkäinen.

Founded in Tallinn in 2017, Specialist VC is a venture capital firm that supports companies in the Baltic region, Finland, and Ukraine. In early 2022, Specialist VC launched a new €50M fund, supported by the Estonian LHV pension fund and the European Investment Fund through the European Guarantee Fund and the Baltic Innovation Fund 2. The partners of Specialist VC are Kaspar Hanni, Riivo Anton, Tõnu Esko, and Gerri Kodres.

Newion is an independent venture capital company founded in December 2000 and based in Amsterdam. Field of activity: investments in early-stage technology companies in the B2B, SaaS, IT and software sectors.
