Latvian VC BADideas.fund invested in Bratislava-based fintech Blockmate

Latvian investment firm BADideas.fund participated in a €1,5M round of Bratislava-based digital assets and cryptocurrencies management application Blockmate . Czech VC and private equity company Seed Starter of Česká a Slovenská spořitelna invested €760K in the startup. Among other backers were Prague-based Tensor Ventures, Czech investment firms DEPO Ventures, Token Ventures, ZAKA Ventures, and US Diaspora Ventures.

Estonian solution for e-signing documents TrustLynx   raised €300K from Estonian accelerator Startup Wise Guys and Polish VC and a private equity company FundingBox.

Karma Ventures invested in the Romanian AI conversational platform DRUID

  Estonian early-stage venture capital firm Karma Ventures invested in the Romanian AI conversational platform DRUID , which integrates with ChatGPT. New York-based investment firm TQ Ventures led a $30M B round. London-based VC and private equity company Smedvig Capital, Amsterdam-based VC GapMinder, New York-based global community of entrepreneurs Endeavor, and UK Hoxton Ventures and Verve Ventures also participated in the deal.

Estonian developer of cybercrime investigation solutions Binalyze raised €19M

Estonian startup developing a cybercrime investigation solution Binalyze  raised €19M in a Series A round. London-based VC and private equity company Molten Ventures led the round. The new backers, such as US Cisco Investments (a venture capital arm of software developer Cisco), a VC and an accelerator Citi Ventures (a subsidiary of US financial institution Citi), and German investment company Deutsche Bank Corporate Venture Capital joined the deal. 

Estonian legal tech Avokaado raised €1,2M

Estonian legal tech Avokaado   raised  €1,2M. The lead investor was Estonian venture capital firm Tera Ventures.

BaltCap invested in NordicNinja Fund II

A private equity fund BaltCap , operating in Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia, invested in NordicNinja Fund II, which focuses on Nordic and Baltic startups. The cornerstone investor was Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC). Swedbank pension funds, existing investors Japanese automaker Honda, and Japanese electronics manufacturer Omron also supported NordicNinja with financing. 

Estonian fintech Monemon raised €1M

Estonian fintech Monemon  raised €1M from business angels Illimar Mattus and a chairman of the supervisory council at Estonian insurance broker's service IIZI Kindlustusmaakler Kalev Tanner.
