Estonian WeGoTrip raised $900K

Estonian travel marketplace WeGoTrip raised $900K from Sergey Dashkov’s Cyprus venture company Joint Journey, CEO of Russian travel service Tripster Boris Plotitsa and an unnamed Silicon Valley unicorn.

Based in 2019 by Alexander Golovatyy and Stanislav Petriakov, WeGoTrip is a marketplace of self-guided audio tours with museum tickets around the world. The company works with independent guides, who create audio tours in WeGoTrip application, and then travelers can buy them on the marketplace and take a self-guided tour.

Cyprus venture company Joint Journey is founded by Sergey Dashkov in 2016. The company invests in Big Data, FinTech, New Energy, VR, Internet of Things, and BioTech startups.

Russian Tripster- Moscow-based online booking service for excursions that allows users to arrange trips with locals in over 600 places around the world. The company was established in 2013.
