Latvian startup Qrunch receives €30K investment from Estonian Decamel
Latvian startup Qrunch raised €30K pre-seed from Estonian investment platform Decamel with a performance based option to bag another €170K totaling up to €200K.
Qrunch is a SaaS platform based on QR codes for restaurants and hotels. It allows guests to order food and drinks from their rooms, restaurant and other areas of the hotel, as well as request services such as housekeeping.
The technology makes it possible to serve guests in their language and reduce waiting times, as well as improve the quality of service, reducing the burden on staff.The funding will be used to further develop technology and integrate with hotel and restaurant POS/PMS systems, as well as to expand the company's activities into 5 new markets in the European Union, as well as in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Now Qrunch operates in Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
