Lithuanian Spike raised $700K

Lithuanian data technology Spike raised $700K from several US venture companies and business angels from Austin, Texas, NYC, and Silicon Valley. The lead investor was New York Geek Ventures. Florida-based CEAS Investments and Berlin-based Axel Springer Porsche participated in this round.

Spike is a data technology and artificial intelligence startup. It offers a solution that allows the integration of sensor data from more than 200 wearable sensors and IoT devices. It can be used by digital health companies to collect the health data of their clients. Also among the company’s clients are fitness, insurance, and automation companies.

Spike was founded in 2022 with its headquarters in Palo Alto. The data specialists of the company work in Palo Alto (California, US), and the data engineers work in Vilnius, Lithuania. 

The co-founder and CEO of Spike Povilas Gudžius, co-founder, data engineer, and product manager Vytenis Darulis and system architect, and technology manager Stepanas Kolesnik invested their own money in Spike to be able to start the business.
