Lithuanian startup Walk15 has raised $200K from 70V fund and EIT Urban Mobility
Lithuanian sustainable walking platform Walk15 has raised $200K from Lithuanian fund 70V and EIT Urban Mobility. This round was led by EIT Urban Mobility which is a subsidiary of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. Walk15 plans to use the attracted investment for the completion of the self-service platform and entering the German market. The Lithuanian startup also plans to raise €1M during the next year.
In November the company attracted $400K from several business angels in Lithuania, including Rita Sakus and Gediminas Tamošaitis, as well as Lithuanian Business Angels Fund II.
Walk15 was launched in 2019 in Vilnius. It offers a solution that helps companies and organizations solve the problem of low employee engagement in physical activity. The startup app counts the steps and, according to agreements with various companies, converts them into discounts and offers for the purchase of healthy products and services. Walk15 brings together over 1K international companies and 420K users.
70V - is a venture capital fund and accelerator. It has two funds - 70Ventures Accel and Seed. It focuses on the Nordic and Baltic regions. It was founded in Vilnius in 2018.
EIT Urban Mobility- is a subsidiary of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). It works on accelerating solutions that improve the collective use of urban spaces.
