The Estonian startup Co-one has raised €4,2M from a group of venture investors

The Estonian startup Co-one, which offers data labeling services for AI companies, has raised $4,2M from the lead investor Private Equity Investment arm of Turkish Isbank Maxis Yenilikçi Fon, Turkish VC firms TechOne Venture Capital, Lima Ventures, LEAP Investment, Dutch-based venture company  DOMiNO Ventures, Turkish business-angels (CEO of AI Vision platform Chooch) Emrah Gultekin and Siret Unsal (executive director of Turkish division at investment bank UBS).

The financing will be used for the further development of company products and the expansion of its team in Europe.

The startup provides firms with an Annotation Management Dashboard where they can download visual, video, and text data and add annotations to it. That helps to manage data labeling processes faster. Labeling image data helps, for example, image recognition or image classification. Labeling text data helps achieve human-level textual dialogues or make talking to a chatbot more human-likely. Besides, the company’s Kovan App allows users to earn income by labeling data.

Co-one was founded in 2020. The headquarter is in Tallinn.
