Estonian investment app Raison increased its valuation to $30M

Estonian application Raison, which allows its customers to invest in late venture investment deals available from $1 and make operations with cryptocurrency ETH and USDC, bitcoins, and euros increased its valuation from $11,5M to $30M.

It is connected to the acquisition of investment company Raison Asset Management regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC US) in October 2022 and with the planned expansion in the CIS region (former Soviet countries).

Raison is a fintech startup developing a mobile application for operations with investments and personal finance. It was founded in Tallinn in 2017 by Alexander Zaytsev, Andrey Berezin and Andrey Kononykhin. In 2021, Raison raised $900K in vestments from Estonian venture capital firm Server Partners.

Raison has an application that uses a special investment fund to purchase companies’ shares. The fund is managed by Raison Asset Management, which is currently in charge of over $50M of assets. The application has 30K customers from 34 countries to invest in such companies as Elon Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX and Neuralink (builds a fully integrated Brain-Computer Interface system), and OpenAI (AI research company that developed a large language model chatbot ChatGPT).

Besides, Raison has obtained a broker/dealer and investment adviser license with the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), a financial hub for Central Asia, the Caucasus, EAEU, the Middle East, West China, Mongolia, and Europe, which will allow it to provide services with a focus on Europe and the CIS region.

Raison is going to develop a platform for managing assets for retail and HNWI investors (individuals with an asset value of over $1M), where HNWI investors will be able to access exclusive venture transactions and services like trust management and financial advising.
