Estonian fund Spring Capital led the €3M round of Danish fintech Uniify

Estonian fund Spring Capital together with the Danish fund People Ventures and the US venture company Forward VC led the €3M round of Danish fintech Uniify. The deal was closed in December 2022.

Estonian business angels Priit Uustulnd (member of the Investment Committee at Spring Capital, an investor in Bolt, Veriff/Fractory/Comodule/BoB W), Remo Holsmer (CEO and Board Member at Estonian construction equipment rental company Cramo Estonia AS), Peeter Kruusvall (Co-Founder of London-based book sharing online service and Partner in Tallinn-based PR-agency Optimist Public) and founding board member in Optimist Public Rait Minumets, Denmark Export, and Investment Fund Danmarks Eksport - og Investeringsfond, and other Danish business angels also participated in this round.

Uniify is a platform that allows financial companies to collect and process data on their customers from many different sources faster. The startup’s solutions help to complete a credit assessment or make a KYC(know your customer)/KYB (know your bank) verification, which would prevent identity fraud and crime.

The startup will use the financing to increase the team, add new exciting product features, and expand in international markets. Before having received this financing, Uniify had been developing with bootstrapping.

A venture company Spring Capital was established in Tallinn by Henry Treude in 2008. It has invested in Estonian-founded transportation company Bolt, Estonian-based smart pots to take care of plants automatically Click and Grow, Estonian solar-roof moduls Roofit.Solar and other companies. Spring Capital makes €75K-200K investments in startups from the Nordics and the CEE region.
