Three Estonian entrepreneurs joined Europe's 30 under 30s Forbes list
Estonian entrepreneurs founder and CEO at identity verification provider Veriff Kaarel Kotkas joined Forbes’ list of Europe’s tech under the 30s in the category of sustainability and security. CEO and co-founder of farm management software eAgronom Robin Saluoksa was honored in the category of finance. Founder of construction management platform Remato Madis Lehtmetsa appeared on the list in the category of manufacturing and industry.
Forbes pointed out that 28-years old Kotkas built a startup, founded in 2015, into a unicorn. After the latest fundraising, the company received a valuation of $1.5B. Currently, it has 500 employees and clients in sectors ranging from fintech to healthcare. In 2022, the turnover of the company increased more than 2,3 times, and it will focus on the growth of turnover in 2023.
eAgronom, the company of 27-years old Robin Saluoks, has raised $12M to build software that lets farmers manage their carbon footprint and earn, trade, and exchange valuable carbon credits to both improve the sustainability of their farms and earn extra revenue from the carbon credits. eAgronom employed 36 people by the end of 2022.
29-years old Madis Lehtmets founded Remato, which solution digitally connects field crews to construction offices so companies can verify attendance with GPS and geofencing, collect photos, see progress, and more via a single app. Remato has 350 paying companies in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, The United Kingdom, South Africa, and Canada. Remato has raised over $2M in funding since 2018.
At the beginning of 2023, Madis Lehtmets left the position of CEO and remained an executive adviser to the supervisory board.
