Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys invested in Italian HR startup RestWorld

 

Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys, Italian website of free online advertisements Bakeca.it, and developer of IT solutions for human resources and consulting for the recruiting process Intervieweb led a €500K round of investments of Italian HR startup RestWorld. The company raised €200K in June 2022, and the rest €300K - recently. Besides, several Italian business angels participated in this round.

Restworld was founded by Luca Lotterio in 2020. It is a platform that connects workers and employers in the food service industry. The startup uses a matching algorithm based on the analysis of the candidates' biodata. The platform has over 70K registered members and is active in 50 Italian cities. It manages about 2,8K jobs. 

Restworld will use the investment for further development of the platform. The startup aims to present a map on the platform with the job offer and its description, detailed salary, and updated information about the company.

Launched in 2012, Estonian Startup Wise Guys is an accelerator that invests in early-stage startups from the Baltic, Central European, and African regions. It has invested in more than 350 startups and had 13 exits. It invests money from more than 150 investors. The company typically invests up to €500K per startup through various funds that manage in total €45M.
