Estonian developer of water treatment robots Spacedrip raised €1,5M from Estonian venture fund Eigenkapital of founders of online time tracking software Toggl, Estonian company that allows to purchase, rent, and sell the farmland Vestman Energia AS, head of Estonian defense solutions provider Milrem Robotics Kuldar Väärsi, head of Estonian electricity and gas transmission system operator Elering Taavi Veskimägi, Estonian company that works in construction and renovation of water and sewerage lines MSM, and several other Estonian investors and entrepreneurs.

Spacedrip offers water treatment robots that turn wastewater into clean water. The robots make two types of water: non-potable water for irrigation, flushing the toilet, and technical reuse and potable water for washing, showering, laundry, dishwashing, and cooking. According to the company, it uses software and water treatment technology that allows it to reduce the operational, maintenance, and energy cost of small-scale wastewater treatment and reuse. Spacedrip was founded by Joonatan Oras, Rainer Nõlvak, and Hannes Tamjärv. The headquarters is in Liivamäe, Harjumaa.

Spacedrip will use the investment for product development and expansion into foreign markets, such as Southern Europe, America, and Africa so that systems can be set up with pilot clients. Moreover, the startup plans to develop strategic components for its robots.
