Estonian mobile car wash service UpSteam changed its name to Fleetfox
Estonian mobile car wash service UpSteam changed its name to Fleetfox due to closing its old business model (mobile car wash service for private customers). In September 2022, the startup made a pivot to a full-stack fleet care platform for shared mobility companies, offering them washing, fuelling, light maintenance, and other services. Earlier, the company announced that it would close its old business line at the end of March.
Besides, the company started its operations in Vilnius (Lituania) and shut down business in Tartu (Estonia). According to Fleetfox's founder Martin Kristerson, Tartu was too small and low-populated for a successful business: it didn’t have enough carsharing vehicles.
Fleetfox was founded by Martin Kristerson and Valjo Kütt in Tallinn in 2017. It operates in three Baltic cities, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.
