Four Baltic startups won prizes as equity investments up to €400K at the annual competition TechChill

Four Baltic startups won prizes as equity investments up to €400K at the annual pitch competition TechChill, which was held in Riga from 26 to 28 April. 

Lithuanian startup Sign on Tab received an investment offer of €150K from Latvian fund  BADideas.Fund and €150K from Praga-based business angel network, business angel fund, and a seed venture fund Depo Ventures. Sign on Tab is a digital signing toolkit (on-premise and remote) which can be integrated with any Healthcare Software System. It captures the Biometrics of a handwritten signature and ensures document validity. All the data from signed documents can be exportable and searchable and can be used as an important part of analytics. The startup was founded in 2019 by Mindaugas Kezionis.

Latvian startups Adventum Tech and Abillio received investment offers of up to €50K each from Latvian hardware & IoT startup accelerator Buildit.

Adventum Tech optimizes construction and engineering processes through data management. It focuses on the development of hardware and software for applications within the construction, manufacturing, mobility, and energy sector. It has three solutions. LiveLoad monitors the loadbearing of temporary and permanent supports. TempSense monitors concrete’s curing temperature, referred to the air temperature and concrete’s age. DeflectSense monitors the structure’s bending deflection. The startup was founded by Nikita Gorbatko.

Abillio is a digital platform that offers Business as a Service. This model allows freelancers to become members of a cooperative and send invoices to customers in Latvia and abroad. The freelancers register, pay a membership fee, and use the platform to invoice service recipients. Abillio pays corporate income tax and VAT to the treasury and charges a 3% after-tax commission from its members. The startup was founded in 2021 by Mārtiņš Viļums.

TechChill is a non-profit organization, aimed to promote the development of the technology and start-up ecosystem, international recognition, and fundraising.
