Estonian software platform for personal trainers FitQ Studio acquired Estonian application-based workout tracking tool Gymwolf. With the acquisition, the current shareholders of Gymwolf joined the shareholders of FitQ. 

Gymwolf’s solution allows trainers to keep their gym training diary and create and sell training plans to people who want to improve their fitness state, monitor their completion, and receive user feedback. The users can choose their online personal trainer. Gymwolf has more than 25K users. The company was founded in Tartu in 2011 by Indrek Ulst, who works as CTO at the software development company Mooncascade. 

FitQ Studio offers to choose personal trainers, online exercises, and video workouts. The startup rew out of Baltic health and wellness marketplace Stebby. It was founded by Marti Soosaar in Tartu in 2020. 

Marti Soosaar noted that by autumn 2023, he plans to integrate the products of FitQ and Gymwolf with each other. Besides, Gymwolf is working on another platform. It aims to offer coaches training plans, developed with the help of AI technology.
