Syda Ventures invested in health tech startup Ari Care

 

Estonian micro VC company of business angel Lev Dolgatsjov Syda Ventures invested in Estonian health tech startup Ari Care. The amount of the round is undisclosed, but the average ticket of the fund is “in the same range as typical angel tickets”, which are, according to Lev Dolgatsjov, usually €10K-€50K range, and €15-€20K in Europe. 

Ari Care manufactures personal care and cleaning products as organic powder-based formulas, minimizing the use of water in the manufacturing and shipping phase. The startup was launched by Kelly Antropov and Merilyn Kesküla in Tallinn in 2021. 

Impact investing company Syda Ventures was founded by Lev Dolgatsjov and Olga Scheller in 2022. They invest in startups with their own money. Impact investing aims to reduce the negative effects of business activity on the social environment with a focus on healthcare, education, clean and renewable energy, and agriculture.
