Helve and LIAA start pre-accelerator for Baltic climate startups

Latvian innovation management company Helve, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), and Riga City Council launch a new pre-acceleration program for Baltic early-stage climate tech startups Future Hub Climate in Riga. The program starts in October and lasts till December. The applications are open until September, 12. The program director is Āris Brencis.

Eight teams will join the pre-accelerator and receive equity-free support up to €5K. Young companies will use the financing for product development and test it with existing corporations in 10 weeks. That will help to validate the product's readiness for the market. Most part of the program will be online.

At the end of the program, the startups will present their product validation results in front of climate tech investors during the Baltic Sustainability Awards 2023. The event will take place in Riga at Splendid Palace on December 7.
